There is a new update to YouTube commenting. YouTube has made it mandatory to use Google+ for commenting on YouTube channels.
I have never used Google Plus and now I'm forced to use it if I have to reply to the visitors comments on my videos, an extra thing to manage and some extra privacy settings to be concerned off. Not the way to go Google.
I'm happy with the normal commenting system on YouTube videos, but the new system is not something I like. When I attempted to reply to comments on my videos, I was forced to select my name or channel name for display. No other option but to select one of these, but even after I selected, nothing has moved forward, it has struck there. Seems like their servers are too busy forcing all the channels to get on to Google Plus. Now I'm waiting for something to happen so I can reply to the comments.
Whats going on with your channels? Any similar experiences?
Update : Commenting is not working using Chrome, but works with Internet Explorer. Even the settings are not being saved if changed from Chrome.
